Arctic Monkeys are among the Nominees for 2014 UK Festival Awards

                 

The year has been long for the band, now its time to collect the benefits from it. The final list for the 2014 UK Festival Awards has been unveiled, and Arctic Monkeys are leading with other giants like Arcade Fire, Metallica and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Arctic Monkeys have received an nomination for their gig at Reading & Leeds Festival, on the other hand Metallica and Kasabian are up for Headline Performance Of The Year on Glastonbury’s. Arctic Monkeys already have won this prize last year, for their performance at Glastonbury show. This year the Sheffield band is competing also for Anthem Of The Summer with the hit song “R U Mine?”.

The UK Festival Awards shortlist (that can be checked below), have other categories: Best Major Festival, Best Medium-Sized Festival, Best Small Festival, Best New Festival, Best Metropolitan Festival, Best Overseas Festival and Best Breakthrough Artist.

The winners will be announced during a ceremony at the London Roundhouse on December 1st.
